Corporate social responsibility
We have enjoyed long associations with charities in the East of England. Currently, we work with The Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust www.act4addenbrookes.org.uk. We also support St Peter’s School in Huntingdon with website template design: www.stpeters.cambs.sch.uk.
MD Alison Meadows is participating in a charity challenge raising money for The Parkinson’s Disease Society and The Alzheimer’s Society whilst helping to refurbish a primary school in Southern Africa. Alison will travel to Namibia in October 2009. Find out more at www.charitypants.org.uk. Agency staff have helped in numerous ways, from web design and build to PR and creative support, as well as pledging time to help raise funds.
FD Anne Marchini is a trustee of local charity Wheels for Martin which the agency supports annually in its efforts to raise funds for local children in need of specially equipped wheelchairs.
The agency has long run a continuous professional development programme and is committed to staff development through the scheme run by our key industry body The Institute of Practioners in Advertising www.ipa.co.uk. The agency also maintains standards and best practice through the adherence to a number of key policies and procedures.
We are currently working towards Investors in People accreditation.
We are committed to nurturing young talent and regularly support GCSE students through work experience and degree students with year long placements, including students from agricultural college Harper Adams.
The agency is conscious of the need to care for our environment and seeks to minimise damage to the environment through best practice office management and recycling.
